Yes. Sudoku is built exclusively for visionOS. The 9×9 grid hangs in space at the right reading distance, and SharePlay does the hard work of keeping multiple sessions in sync.
Absolutely. Solo mode needs no network. Open the app, pick a difficulty, fill the grid. SharePlay obviously needs FaceTime to be active.
The current build is tuned for 2–4 players. Both Competitive (everyone gets their own grid) and Collaborative (one shared grid) scale cleanly inside that range.
Every grid is generated on-device using a backtracking solver, then trimmed to the requested number of clues. No two sessions get the same grid. No internet needed.
The clock runs to record your completion time, but nothing penalizes you for taking three hours. Sudoku is supposed to slow you down, not hurry you up.
Hard already sits near the theoretical minimum of 17 clues. We may add an "Expert" mode with the same clue count but only forcing more advanced solving techniques, if there's demand.
